Favorite designer: Lena Hoschek

Berlin Fashion Week fall/winter 2015 is over and there was a lot to see on the official homepage and on various fashion blogs. Most of the outfits shown in Berlin are can be worn on the streets but they are not very trend setting. Young designers like Bobby Kollade showed very impressive work but the real trends are made in the backyards of the actual flipped out Berlin. Since it starts so early in the season, we can get inspired and actually wear the trends right now and don't have to wait for autumn.

My favorite designer who is also more traditionell and designs fashion for woman over 40, is Lena Hoschek. Her autum/winter collection which I liked a lot is again very beautiful.

For quite some time, the Austrian designer Lena Hoschek guarantees beautiful retro-fashion reminiscent of the 50s and 60s. Beehive-hairstyles and cat-eyes as well as jazz music frame this kind of fashion on the runway. Dresses, full skirts and wide pants made of tweed, tulle or lace warrant absolute femininity and a lot of elegance. Her designs are picture-perfect and ideal for the hourglass figure and also for the full figure.

Button-down coatdresses with a swinging skirt as well as elegant dresses you can war at the office but also for after work cocktails are in the center of her collection. Graphic or flower prints in strong colors like red, green and a lot of blue (theme of the collection is "L'heure Bleue - the blue hour") dominate. Extraordinary is the traditional last look, a very opulent floor-length bride's gown.
